As we settle into the month of September, there is no better way to welcome the fall than by planning a wonderful outing to a local orchard. Whether you choose to gather apples for a new recipe that will fill your home with the smell of autumn, or just want something fun to do with the family, Montgomery and Frederick counties offer lots of “pick-your own” options.
