Even though finding things to do on Thanksgiving Day might seem obvious to many people (family, food and football, anyone?), it's refreshing to have other options, too. There's nothing worse than feeling bored or restless on a day when you should be having fun.

Here are some ideas of things to do together with family and friends ... and to do alone to decompress!

  • Have a Pie Eating Contest
  • Organize a Pumpkin Hunt
  • Make Floral Arrangements
  • Write Thank You Notes
  • Have a Family Photo Shoot
  • Write Gratitude Lists
  • Take a Walk or Hike
  • Give to Your Community
  • Create a Thanksgiving Inspired Bucket List
  • Create New Traditions
  • Play Games
Whatever your day holds, may it be filled with gratitude.
